d fu r th er ,T hat each such State plan shall be consistent with the D epartment of Health and Human Services ’ national action plan for reducin g healthcare-associated infections and include measurable 5 -year goals and interim milestones for reducing such infections: Provided further, That the Secretary shall conduct a review of the State plans submitted pursuant to the preceding proviso and report to the C ommittees on A ppropriations of the House of R epresentatives and the Senate not later than June 1, 2010, regarding the ade q uacy of such plans for achieving State and national goals for reducing healthcare-associated infections: Provided further, That for purposes of the two preceding provisos, the term ‘ ‘State’’ means each of the several States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of P uerto Rico .I n addition, for necessary e x penses to administer the E nergy Employees O ccupational Illness Compensation Program Act, $ 55, 3 5 8 ,000, to remain available until expended, of which $ 4 ,500,000 shall be for use by or in support of the Advisory B oard on Radiation and W or k er Health ( ‘‘the Board’’ ) to carry out its statutory responsibilities, including obtaining audits, technical assistance, and other support from the Board’s audit contractor with regard to radiation dose estimation and reconstruction efforts, site profiles, procedures, and review of Special Exposure Cohort petitions and evaluation reports: Provided, That this amount shall be available consistent with the provision regarding administrative expenses in section 151(b) of division B, title I of Public L aw 10 6– 554.
