Be it enacted bg the Senate and M>ztse of Representatives of the [Lifted States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury pay. out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropri- gdzggoggmt? b° ated, to Mrs. Mary Lincoln, widow of Abraham Lincoln, late President Klary Lincoln. of the United States, or, in the event of her death before payment, then to the legal representatives of the said Abraham Lincoln, the sum of twenty-tive thousand dollars: Provided always, That any sum of money Pr<>viS¤· which shall have been paid to the personal representatives of the said Abraham Lincoln since his death, on account of his salary as President of the United States for the current year, shall be deducted from the said sum of twentydive thousand dollars.
