Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Péqsien f¤ States of America, in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Inte- C"°lm° M°G°°' rior be, and he is hereby, authorized to place the name of Mrs. Caroline McGee, of the county of Greene, and State of Tennessee, on the pension roll, at the rate of eight dollars per month, to commence on the twenty- seventh day of November, eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and to continue during her widowhood, upon satisfactory proof that she was and is the widow of Lemuel McGee, late of Tennessee, who died while imprisoned at Belle Island, or Richmond, Virginia, during the late rebellion.
