Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois, shall be set apart for the purposes named in this section, as far and as long as they may be applicable and convenient. Sec. 7. That upon the appointment and qualification of said assistant D(,s;g,,,t;,,,,,, t,reasurers, the Secretary of the Treasury shall revoke the designations as d¢1><>Si¤¤d¤¤ pf; depositcrics of the United States of the surveyor of customs at, Cincimmci and the collector of customs at Chicago, and shall direct me transfer of go to be revoked, all the books, accounts, vouchers, property, and public moneys in the "h°¤· &°· officss of the said depositories to the offices of the said assistant trcasurers, respectively. That the assistant trcasurcrs authorized, by this act to be ap- pay of such pointed shall receive a salary of five thousand dollars each per annum, ¤¤sis¢¤¤t gag? to be paid quarter-year1y at the treasury of the United States, which °m° °S°° °d‘ shall be in full for all their services; and 2. sufficieuh amount to pay said salary until J unc thirtieth, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, is hereby appropriated.
