McKinney, widow and relict of John M. McKinney, late judge of the United States district court for the southern district of Florida, who died of yellow fever, October thirteen, eighteen hundred and seventy-one, contracted in discharge of his official duties, the full amount of one year’s salary of the office held by her husband at the time of his death.
