Wausau Land-district embraces all that portion of the State of Wisconsin lying north of the line between townships fourteen and fifteen north of the base-line; west of the line between ranges eleven and twelve east of the fourth principal meridian; and east of the line between ranges one and two east of the fourth principal meridian. La Crosse Land-district is included within the followin%`bounda.ries, to wit: Beginning on the south boundary of the State of "isconsin, where_the line between ranges eight and nine east of the fourth principal meridian intersects the same; thence north with the said range-line to the corner common to townships fourteen and fifteen north of the base-line; thence west with said line to the line between ranges one and two east; thence north along said range—line to the corner common to townships twenty- four and twenty-five north; thence west on the line between said townships to the line between ranges eleven and twelve west; thence north with said range-line to the intersection with the Chippeway River; thence down said river to its mouth; thence down the Mississippi River to the southern boundary of Wisconsin; and thence east along the said boum - ary to the place of beginning. Bayfield. 33. Bayfield Land-district embraces all that part of the northwestern corner of the State of Wisconsin lying north of the fourth correction-line and west of the line between ranges one and two east of the fourth principal meridian. Eau Claire. 34. Eau Claire Land-district is bounded on the north by the fourth 0OI'1'8Cbl0Il-lll1G running through ranges one east and one to eleven west of the fourth principal meri ian; on the west by the line running south between ranges eleven and twelve west to the corner common to townships twenty-four and twenty-five north of the base-line; on the south by the line running east between said townshi s to the line between ranges one and two east of the fourth princi al)meridian, and on the east by the said rangeline extending north to the corner common to townships forty and forty- one north of the base—line, to the place of beginning. csuronnu.
