Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United I’¤¤¤i<>¤ to HM- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the me W·S““‘““· Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension-laws, the name of Mrs. Hannah W. Sumner, widow of the late Major-General Edwin V. Sumner, who died March twenty-nrst, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, while in command of the Department of the West, at the · rate of nity dollars per month, to commence from the passage of this act, and to continue during her widowhood, and to be in lieu of the pension heretofore granted to the said Hannah W. Sumner under the provisions of the general pension—laws. Approved, August 14, 1876. Aug. 14, 1876. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Pension to T. I. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Inte- Fo!- rior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Thomas I Fox, of Clinton County, Pennsylvania, late a private in Company C, Fifty-second Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act.
