Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Surgeon—Gencral of Marine hospital the Marine Hospital Service be, and he is hereby, authorized and em- M M°mPhi°» T<>¤¤- powercd to procure a proper site in or near the city of Memphis, Tennessee, and cause to be erected thereon a building suitable for a marine B.,imi,,.. to be hospital, after plans and specifications which shall be furnished under erected. ° his direction by the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department.
