Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United _ States of America in Congress assembled, That the claim of Katherine C. MK“Fh‘°““° C, B· B. Merrill, executrix of the last will and testament of Ayers P. Merrill, of°$u’0€§(;:0z8r? deceased, and late of the State of Mississippi, for quartermaster and M0m11,d.¤c0aw1, coniniissary stores and supplies alleged to have been taken and used by _ Claims og to be the United States Army during the rebellion, from the plantations of ;*"gE:;§,"·”i0 CES said Merrill in the vicinity of Natchez, Mississippi, be referred to the gg38E_ Quarterniaster-General, who shall investigate the justice and legality of said claim and report the amount and value of said stores and supplies taken and used by the Army of the United States, and also what amount has been paid on the same; and that he report all the facts and evidence for the consideration of Congress.
