Beauboucher, late consul of the United States at Jerusalem, made iu_ RQ1M ofeighteen hundred and sixty-six and eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, and to determine what allowance, if any, shall be made to him u n principles of justice and equity; and the Secretary of the Trcasnrgo is hereby directed to pay to said Victor Beauboucher, such sum as may be awarded by the Secretary of State, not to exceed the sum of four thousand dollars.
