Be it enacted by the Senate and House xg Representatives of the United States of America in Congress asse led, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to pay to J. A. Wilson the sum of forty-two dollars and sixty-five cents, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, on account of the robbing of the mail and the loss of registered letters for that sum, the robber being subsequently arrested, tried, and convicted. Approved, May 9, 1888. CHAP. 239.-—An act for the relief of John C. Adams, administrator of Joseph Maya 1888. Adams, deceased. . Adams, administrator of the estate of Jose h Adams, deceased, the sum of four thousand four hundred and thirty-five dollars, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for stores and supplies taken bygand furnished to the Army of the United States during the late re llion.
