Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the {$2;,% Claus United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary ` of the Interior be, and he is here y, authorized and directed to place on the ension-roll, subject to the provisions and lim1tations of the ensiondaws, the name of John H. Claus, late a private in Company K, One hundred and eighth Regiment Ohio Infantry Volunteers, and also late a private in the Ordnance Department of the United States Army. Approved, August 9, 1888. Porter, o Madisonville, in the State of entucky, upon the pension-roll, subject to the dprovisions and limitations of the pension laws, for services ren ered in the war with Mexico, in the Comipany commanded by Captain Leftwich, in the Third Regiment of ennessee Volunteers, as shown by testimony on file with said William H. Porter’s application for a land warrant issued b the Commissioner of Pensions on the eighteenth of January, eigliteen hundred and eighty-eight. Approved, August 9, 1888. August 9. 188.
