Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the . _ United States of America in _Cong)ress assembled, That the Secretary {l§§S’}‘§Qf‘ W“¥““’· of the Interior be, and he is here y, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Harrison Wagner, late a nurse in eneral ospital number one, Frederick, Maryland, and pay him at die rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 12, 1889. CHAP. 139.-An act granting a pension to Ellen White Dowling. February 12, mss. Be it enacted by the Senaw and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Cowress assembled, That the Secretary 1§:l§g§¤i¤D¤wi¤s· of the Interior be and he is here y, authorized and directed to place ` on the pension—roll, subject to the xprovisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ellen, hite Dowling, a volunteer nurse in the Army during the war of the rebellion, and pay her a pension olt twelve dollars a month, during life, from and after the passage of t is act. Berg, former auditor of the State of Arkansas, the sum of two hundredollars, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the same being for internal-revenue tax illegally collect on his salary as such officer. Approved, February 12, 1889. CHAP. 141.--An act granting an increase of pension to James Patterson; February 12. msn. Be it enacted by the Senate and Ho14.se of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary i[::¤d¤'fi¤:¢¤¤¤;¤;l of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay ° °"” ` to James Patterson, late a private in Company E, Third Missouri ·State Militia Cavalry, a pension at the rate of twenty-tive dollars a mouth, in lieu of that which he now receives, to take eiect from and after the passage of this act. Smyth, a volunteer nurse in the war of rebellion, and pay her a pension of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 12, 1889.
