Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rgpresentatives of the I»¤¤*¤¤¥{·g¤¤°“ United States of America in Congress assemble , That there be, and wmahereby is, appropriated from the Treasury of the United States the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars, in full compensation for the use by the United States Army of the house and other buildings in Summerville, South Carolina, belonging to Mrs Louisa H. Hasell, during the years eighteen hundred and sixty-ive and eighteen hundred and sixty-six, a.nd in full satisfaction for_ any damage to said prdperty arisin from or incident to the occupation of the same by the sai Army; and the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby directed to pay that sum to Mrs Louisa . Mary Newton, the daughter and only urviving heir of John Jordan, of the Continental Line, in the war of the Revolution, and to pay her at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the passage of this act.
