Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the §,*j,;'§Q£Q"S· d United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary 0of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the ension laws, the name of Merritt Lewis, late a private in Company H. Seventh Michigan Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixty dollars a month, in lieu of the sum he is now receiving. _ Approved, June 24, 1890. June 21,1990. CHAP. 591.-An act granting an increase of pension to Stewart Herbert. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the §,';1*;gjiE¤b€¤·, United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary ‘ of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, at the rate of forty dollars per month, the name of Stewart Herbert, late a private in Company A, Seventh Regiment Maryland Volunteer Infantry, in lieu of the pension now received by him. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the §§,§§$§él‘;f;,'$_ United States of America in Congress assembled, That Charles H. Moore, late private Company H. Eleventh Connecticut Volunteers, be, and he is hereby, granted and allowed, from and after the passage of this act, a pension at the rate of twenty five dollars a month; and the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of said Charles H. Moore on the pension-roll at said rate, in lieu of the pension now paid him. Approved, June 24, 1890. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the pension-roll the name of Owen C. Powell, late a private soldier in company A, commanded by Captain R. A. Gillespie, in the_F1rst Regimentof Texas Volunteers in the war with Mexico, with an increase of pension to the amount of twenty dollars per month. Approved, June 24, 1890.
