Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the pgpes R¤¢¤¤¤¤d· United States of America in Congress assembled, That by reason of °°` the applicant, Thomas Redmond, while on dutly as teamster in theemploy of the Quartermastefs Department an en route traniporting military supplies from Snake River Depot to Harney epot (later Fort Colvi le, Washington Territory), Colville, Washington Territory, in November, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine, having incurred severe and permanent physical injurv by freezing his feet, necessitating the amfputation of all the toes of both feet, he is hereby granted a pension o thirty dollars a month ; and the Commissioner of Pensions is hereby directed to place his name on the pension-roll at that rate.
