Springsteen, formerly a member of " Company A of the Thirty-fifth egiment of Indiana Volunteers, by ‘ removing the charge of desertion therefrom and granting him an honorable discharge, to date December twenty-third, eighteen hundred and sixty-one. McKinney), Junior, late of Company E, Thirty-sixth Indiana Infantry, who was mustered in said company August twenty;third, eighteen hundred and sixty one, and to remove the charge a sent without leave standing against him, and show him absent with leave: Provided, That §*¢wi•¤- this act shall not entitle such soldier to pay or emoluments from °"°" “°‘ August eighteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, to June twenty- third, eighteen hundred and sixty-three.
