But that the Secretary of War is hereby authorized to extend the time for F·¤¤¤¤i<>¤ <>f ¤i¤¤¤· the commencement of construction for two additional years u n cause shown b the company, and provided that the Secretary of Xggr shall deem such cause sufficient and satisfactory; and that if the company fail to commence the construction of said ridge within the time so extended this act shall be null and void.
