Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Jana Jens; States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the 1°°"“‘°'“ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James Jones, a soldier of the war of eighteen hundred and thirty-six, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the passage of this Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Alopnder M- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the I‘}i‘,§,E,'f,{‘,;_ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alexander M. Laughlin, who was a private in the company of Captain George B. Willis Fortieth Regiment, Fourth Brigade, First Division, of the Illinois State Militia, and who served as such in the Indian war of eighteen hundred and thirty-two, known as the Black Hawk war, and pay to him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United M»ryA;·.E¤as¢:¤¤d¤¤- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P°"“i°'“""° ‘ Interior be and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll the name of Mary A. L. Eastman, widow of Robert L. Eastman, late captain and brevet major, United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of the pension she is now receiving. ‘ Approved, March 2, 1895. CHAP. 224.-An Act Granting a pension to Charity Ann Smith. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Charity Ami Smith. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P°""°“· Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charity Ann Smith, mother of R. Monroe Wiley, late a private in Company G, Thirteenth Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Inihntry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month from the approval of this Act.
