Sutherland, widow of the late Charles- Sutherland, deceased, formerly Surgeon-General of the United States Army, at the rate of fifty dollars per month, which rate of fifty dollars per month shall be in lieu of the pension she is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the %¤¤1$~Bgow¤. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the °'"“°""‘"°"‘°°‘ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lue R. Brown, widow of the late William A. Brown, formerly first lieutenant and adjutant of the Sixth Indiana Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twentydive dollars a month from and after the passage of this Act; which pension shall be in lieu of the pension she now receives. Approved, June 6, 1896. CHAP. 356.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Mrs. H. J. Kieman.
