Selby the sum of nine ym ` hundred and forty-six dollars, being an amount paid into the Treasury by said Selby, as clerk of the United States circuit court of the eastern district of Missouri, by mistake on his part and on the part of the accounting officers of the Government. J. Van Vleck, administrator of Henry Van Vleck, deceased, or to his duly authorized attorneys in fact, the sum of four thousand five hundred and twenty dollars and twenty cents, being the amount due said Henry Van Vleck at the time of°his death as a balance on account of extra work done on the locks of the Saint Marys Falls Canal, Michigan, with interest thereon irom October second, eighteen hundred and eighty-two, the date of approval of said claim by the Secretary of War. · Approved, June 11, 1896. CHAP. 430.-An Act Granting a pension to Mrs. Eliza G. Pyne. June 11, 1890. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the gyms? Pru- Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ` pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mrs. Eliza G. Pyne, widow of Charles M. Pyne, who was captain of unassigned company of the Forty-second Regiment United States Infantry, at the rate of twenty dollars per month. Approved, June 11, 1896. CHAP. 431.-An Act To pension Mrs. Martha M. Gibson. June 11, 1896. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the {,{;¤£:;M-GiM¤¤ Interior be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to place on the ` pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Martha M. Gibson, widow of William H. Gibson, late colonel of the Forty~ninth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry and brevet brigadier-general United States Volunteers, and pay her a p0llsion at the rate of fifty dollars per month.
