Cns. 462, 463. 1899. the sum of eight dollars; numbered_ fifty-two hundred and eighty, in the sum of twenty-eight dollars and eighty cents; numbered fifty-seven hundred and forty-four, in the sum of fifty-eight dollars; numbered fiftyseven hundred and forty-six, in the sum of twenty-seven dollars and forty-two cents; numbered fifty-seven hundred and forty- even, in the sum of twenty-four dollars and ninety-four cents, issued by the late board of audit of the District of Columbia, for the redemption of which there is no existing law, and to pay to the holders of these, and to the holders of those issued by the auditor or treasurer of the late board of public works of the District of Columbia, as described in the iirst part of this bill, the amount respectively found due on such certicates, including interest thereon at the rate of three and sixty-five onehundredths per centum per annum from the date of their issue to December thirty-first, eighteen hundred and eighty; and a suilzicient amount to pay the principal and interest of the certificates aforesaid is hereby appropriated, one-half irom the revenues of the District of Columbia and one-half from any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
