Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States oj America in Congress assembled, That Dorence Atwater be, and wg A,f'“’·°’,;, he_1s hereby, relieved and absolved from the eifect of the entence discharge. mm ° adjudged against him by a court-martial on the eleventh day of September, eighteen hundred and sixty-ive, and that the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to annul the order dishonorably discharging said Atwater as a private, general service, United States Army, and to issue to him an honorable discharge from said service, to date from the twenty-second day of September, eighteen hundred and sixty-ive: Provided.
