CHA?. 153,-An Act Granting a pension to Thomas Lane. ° Be it enacted by the Senate and lhuse o_/'Representattses of the United f}·¤¤a¤¤ L¤¤¤· States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the °”°1°°` Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations ofan Act approved '°l·27·P-2% July twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled “An Act grariting pensions to the survivors of the hnlian wars of eighteen hundred and thirtytwo to eighteen hundred and forty-two, inclusive, known as the Black Hawk war, Creek war, Cherokee disturbances, and the Seminole war," except as to the provision and limitation in said Acf as to the time of service, the 11ame of Thomas Lane, late private in Captain William Moore's company Illinois Militia, Sac and Fox Indian war, and that he be allowed a pension from the date of the approval of this Act at the rate of eight dollars per month.
