Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Maris- S<>¤¤¤r1¤f~ Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the P°"“°"‘ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Maria Somerlat, widow of Valentine Somerlat, late a private in Company A, Twenty-ninth Regiment Indiana Volunteers, and to pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, June 10, 1898. CHAP. 441.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Charles H. Johnson. June 10, 1898. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ¤1¤¤r!¤¤B··T<>1¤=¤·>¤- Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the P°"'°" “'°"”°°' pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles H. Johnson, private in Company E, First Regiment New Hampshire Heavy Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. Nolan, late a private in Company D, Eighth Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and Troop G, Third United States Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Mensch, late first lieutenant Company E, Une hundred and thirtysecond Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers, and private and captain of Company E, Two hundred and ninth Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of the pension he is now receiving.
