Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William R. Vilarden, late a private in Company F, Third Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, at the rate of twelve dollars per month, and pay him said rate under certihcate numbered one hundred and eight thousand nine hundred and twenty-tive, issued to him under the law of June twentyseven, eighteen hundred and ninety, without deducting therefrom any sum theretofore erroneously paid to him under any former law. _ Approved, March 3, 1899. .

 CHAP. 625.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Martha Adams.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United },£:j};§n‘:§f;m_ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Martha Adams, widow of Nathan Adams, of Company E, One hundred and thirty-fourth Regiment Ohio Infantry, and pay her a pension at .the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that now received by her. Approved, March 3, 1899. •

 CHAP. 626.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to J chu E. Gullett.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United gglgig; gx2Q2s3E_ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of John E. Gullett, of Wilcox County, Alabama, a lieutenant in the Creek Indian war of eighteen hundred and thirty-six, from eight dollars to nfteen dollars per month. Approved, March 3, 1899. Merch CHAP. 627.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Charles Williams. Bc it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United f}¤¤*!°;¥;§;é:; States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the °““‘° ‘ Interior be, and he_is hereby, authorized and directed to place the name of Charles Williams, late captain Company A, Eighty-second Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, on the pension roll and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-tour dollars per month. Anderson, late of Company C, First Illinois Infantry Volunteers, in the Mexican war, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of the pension he is now receiving.
