The amounts of orders in both directions shall be U£’,°§°S§j,¥;8”;l“jj¤‘“ expressed in United States money, and shall be converted into their y' proper equivalents by the Post-Oiiice Department of Egypt; that is to say, the sums received by the Post-Oiiice Department of Egypt for orders drawn on the United States shall be converted, at the time of issue, into United States money, at the current rate of exchange, and the amounts of orders drawn in the United States on Egypt shall in like manner be rendered by the P0st—OH:ice Department of Egypt into the currency of Egypt, at the current rate of exchange on the day of the arrival of the exchange list at Alexandria. ARl`ICLE V. The Post-Oflice Department of Egypt and the Post- kms of ¤¤¤>¤¤i¤· Otlice Department of the United States shall each have the power to °i°"' tix, from time to time, the rates of commission to be charged on all money orders they may respectively issue. This commission shall belong to the issuing postal administration, but the Post·OfIice Department of Egypt shall pay to the Post-Office Department of the United States one·half of one per cent on the amount of money orders issued in Egypt and payable in the United States, and the Post—Ofiice Department of the United States shall make a like payment to the Post¤Office Department of Egypt for money orders issued in the United States and payable in Egypt. ‘ Al€T[(}LE VI.
