March 3. 1901- CHAP. 923.-An Act For the relief of the heirs of Joseph T. Stout. Be it enacted by the Senate 0/nd House of Re resentatifves of the United ‘{,‘g?,¥;1;I£·,f’,‘{,’g*ps of States of America in Congress assembled, Tgat the Secretary of the authorized. ’ Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to ay to Alfred Ford, executor of the last will and testament of Joseph Stout, late of Cecil County, in the State of Maryland, the sum of seven hundred and ninety-two dollars and fifty-six cents, in full payment for the following—described unregistered United States bond, with unpaid coupons thereon from December, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, to September first, eighteeu hundred and ninety-one, inclusive, fifty-two couipons at five dollars and sixty-two and one-half cents each, which sai bond and coupons were stolen from the said Joseph T. Stout on the thirteenth day of November in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, and is supposed to have been destroyed, to wit: Cou on bond of the United States numbered twelve thousand eight humffed and forty-three, for five hundred dollars, issued under the Act of July fourteenth, eighteen_ hundred and seventy, four and one-half er 1¤*1¢m¤1*Y 1*0*1*1- centum consols of eighteen hundred and ninety-0ne:..Proi·ided, Tgat before the redemption of said bond and coupons the said Alfred Ford, executor as aforesaid, shall execute or cause to be executed and deposited with the Secretary of the Treasury, a bond of indemnity with good and sufficient security, subject to the approval of said Secretary, to secure the United States against loss or damage in consequence of the redemption of said bond and coupons. Wilson, late of Company C, Eighth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a . .pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional for each of the two minor children of said soldier, until such children shall have arrived at the age of sixteen years.
