Public “°h°°1“· PUBLIC SCHOOLS. ,p%,°,·,§d¤,f§,§{?‘g,°;“°“· The Commissioners of the District of Columbia are hereby authorized to appoint seven persons, bona fide residents and taxpayers of the District o Columbia, and who have been such for five years immediately preceding their appointment, who shall constitute a board of ‘°°’m °‘ °m°°·°’°· education, and whose term of oiiiice shall be seven years, except that the terms of the persons first appointed shall terminate as follows: One each year, to be determined by lot among the seven members of the board first a pointed.
