Chap. 1590.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John B. Calhoun.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John B. Calhoun, late of Company D, Third Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 1591.—An Act Granting a pension to Ann Jones.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ann Jones, widow of Henry E. Jones, late of Company C, Twelfth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Burrows, late of the East Tennessee Bridge Burners, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Catherine Darr, widow of Joseph Darr, late lieutenant-colonel First Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month.

Hurst, late second lieutenant Company M, Nineteenth Regiment Kansas Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of {{{rate}}} dollars per month.
