Chap. 1987.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John D. Inger.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John D. Inger, late of Company B, First Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John K. Whited, late of Company H, Arkansas Mounted Volunteers, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James Stout, late of Company I, Eleventh Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Ostrander, widow of William A. L. Ostrander, late second lieutenant and quartermaster Seventy-ninth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifteen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
