Chap. 2039.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Jacob Reitzel.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jacob Reitzel, late of Company C, Twenty—first Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 2040.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John McConnell.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John McConnell, late of Captain D. D. Henrie’s company, D, District of Columbia and Maryland Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Eliza Workman, widow of William F. Workman, late of Company H, Seventh Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.
