Sec. 2. That before the construction of said dam shall be begun, the D¤¤*¤€°¤· permission of the board of supervisors of Berrien County, Michigan, shall be obtained thereto, and compensation shall be made for all property taken or damages thereby occasioned according to the laws of the State of Michigan. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representives of the United States of America in Cbngreaa assembled, That the Rainy River Bridge gf; *,{§$g·Bm,g° Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Min- Company mg;·¤lg<ig¤, nesota, its successors and assigns, be, and they are hereby, authorized §{,,,,,f" °' “ ° “°’ to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and agproaches thereto across the Rainy River at a point known as Pether"s oint, on lot one, in section twenty-five, in township seventy-one north, range twenty- four west, in the county of Itasca, in the State of Minnesota, to a point on the opposite side of the river in the Province of Ontario, being at or near the head of Rainy River where it joins with Rainy Lake, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of brid es over navigable waters," approved A'*”· P- *4- March twenty-third, nineteen gundred and six.
