Packer, battalion quartermaster and commissary, Twenty-fourth Regiment United States Infantry, on his accounts as acting commissary of subsistence of the post of Port Missoula, Montana, with the sum of forty-eight dollars and eighty- nine cents, the amount of subsistence funds, for which he was responsible, stolen by Commissary—Sergeant Walter E. Smith, United States Army, who deserted from the service September first, nineteen hundred and three. Approved, February 28, 1907.
