For the rt of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer _ Sogliiers, as fo lbws: B D 0F D m Om um mum, xr Arrorv, moi or current ex- ° °» °· eases, namely: Pay of officers and noncommissioned officers of the Cummexmmm home, withsuch exceptions as are hereinafter noted, and their clerks, weiglnnursterrs, and orderlies; also payments for chaplains, religious instruction, and entertainment for the members of the home, printers, bookhinders,. librarians, musicians, tele ph and telephone operators, guards, janitors, watchnren, and hi: company; for all property and materials purchased for their use, including repairs not done by the home; for necessary expenditures for articles of amusement, boats, library books, magazines, apers, pictures, and musical instruments, and for repairs not done hy the home; and for stationery, advertising, le al advice, for payments due heirs of deceased members: Proorui ed, That all receipts on account of the {,;%*:;-0, deemed effects of deceased members during the fiscal year shall also be avail- members. able for such payments; and for such other expenditures as can not properly be included under other heads of expenditure, seventy-four thousand two hundred dollars; For subsistence, namely: Pay of commissary sergeants, e-ommis— S¤¤¤*¤¢¤¤¤¤- sa clerks, porters, laborers, akers, cooks, dishwashers, waiters and others employed in the subsistence department; the cost of all articles purchase for the regular ration, and the subsistence of civilian employees regularly employed and residing at the branch, their height, preparation, and serving; aprons, caps, and jackets for kitchen and ining-room employees; of tobacco; of all dininvroom and kitchen furniture and utensils, bakers’ and butchers’ tools and a pliances, and their repair not done by the home, two hundred and fiitly-two thousand dollars; For ousehold, namely: Expenditures for furniture for officers’ H°¤¤¤h°l¤· quarters; for bedsteads, bedding, bedding material, and all other articles required in the quarters of the members, and of civilian employees permanently employed and residin at the branch, and for their repair, if they are not repaired by the drome; for fuel, including fuel for cooking, eat, and light; for engineers and firemen, bathhouse keepers, janitors, laundry employees, and for all labor, materials, and appliances required for household use, and for their repairs, unless the repairs are made by the home, one hundred and twenty- seven thousand dollars. _
