Translation. · [Translation.] drmmgmpomce ARRANGEMENT- °<>¤**¤¢°i¤¤*’°W°¤· The Govemments of Belgium, Brazil, Spain, the United States, the French Republic, Great Bntain and Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Port%.al, Kussia, Switzerland, and the Government of _H1s Highlne s the edive of E pt,` deeming it expedient to organ1ze‘the _ ter- ' national Office of Tublic Hygiene, referred to in the Paris Sanitary Convention of December 3, 1903, have resolved to conclude an arrangement to that effect and agreed upon the followmg: — Anrrcnn I. ¤¤¤¤¢i¤·¤¤¤. ¤¤· The High Contracf Parties engage to found and maintain an nmbm °lP°°S` International Oihce oluI’ublic Hygiene with headquarters at Paris. ` Arrrrcnn II. Snnwrvgns com- The Office will perform its functions under the authority and "'°°°°°’ ° ‘ supervision of a Committee composed of delegates of the contracting Govemments. The membership and rights and duties of the Com- . mittee, as well as the organization and powers of the said Olhcc are determined by the orgamc by-laws whic are annexed to the present arrangement and are considered as forming an integral part thereof. l Arrrrcnn III. °°°* •°‘ °*P°¤°°*— The costs of installation, as well as the annual expenses for the conduct and maintenance of the Office shall be covered by the quotas of the contracting States determined in accordance with the provisions of the by-laws referred to in Article II. Anrrcrn IV. . ”°*’°““*“‘°““'“"· The sums representing the qsuotas of the several contractin States shall be deposited by the said tates through the Ministry of I7ore` Affairs of the Frenc Republic, at the beginningrof every year in ih: " Caisse des depots et consignations" at aris, om which they shall be drawn as needed against warrants of the Director of the Office. ARTICLE V. l °*·•¤¤”~ The High Contracting Parties reserve the right to make, b joint agreement, in the present arrangement any change of which the usefulness shall have een demonstrated by experience.
