Res., No. 61.] Chickamauga and Chattanooga Military Park, and to likewise report as to certain lands in the State of Tennessee proposed to be donated to the United States for said pl1l'p0S€S. » Resolved by the Senate and lbuse of Representatives efthe United States of America in Ormgress assembled, That the President of the g;§,§',}',§m““°“”°“°¥ United States be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to a point Commission to re a commission consistin of five officers of the Army of the United °§;_°g5'°3§{l$X1 States to make a full and complete investigation, and consider carefully m°“¥° "“*· '”°““· whether or not it is advisable to make, establish, and maintain a maneuvering ground and camp of inspection, rifle and artillery ranges for United States troops at or near the Chickamauga and Chattanoo a National Military Park. Said commission shall fully consider tie S°°P° °H°q“"y' advantages and disadvantages of the lands contiguous to or near to said park for the purposes herein stated, and report fully as to robable number of acres of land necessary to purchase, and the probabid cost of the same, and as to all facts and conditions material to be considered in the premises. The report shall be tiled in the War Department by R°°°"” December first, nineteen hundred andeleven, and communicated to Congress thereafter as soon as practicable by the President. Sec. 2. That said board or commission shall also examine carefully fofgxiggfpgg all lands within the State of Tennessee that may be proposed to be troops _ " donated to the United States for the establishment and maintenance ,,,?§,"§2l$§'°:;,'§n°,§ thereon of a maneuvering encampment and ride and artillery ran es P*°P°°°° d°¤¤**°¤°*· for the assembling of troops from the grou of States composedg of Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Eieor 'a, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina and report on the afvlisability of establishin such camps, ride and artillery ranges on such lands proposed to be donated and whether the lands proposed to be donated are suitable and desirable for such purposes, and how much land would be properly required for said purposes, and whether the lands proposed to be donated are sufficient in quantity for the pu ses pro(pose , and conveniently located for use by troops from said xtes, an the facilities for transportation of troops an supplies to and from said lands, and such other facts as may be material to be considered in the premises. _ Sac:. 3.
