clean in acéounts Treasury and the proper accounting officors of the Treasury Depart- °‘· ment bc, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to credit in the accounts of the Treasurer of the United States the sum of sixty-one thousand five hundred dollars, now carried in the accounts of tho officc of the assistant treasurer of tho United States at Saint Louis, Missouri, and in the general account of the Treasurer of the United States as unavailable funds, and representing a loss incurred in said offico without default or negligence on the Fart of tho assistant treasurer at Saint Louis, said sum being the tots. amount carried in the statement of the Treasurer of the Uriimd States in his annual report for the year nineteen hundred and seven as unavailable funds, officc of assistant Appropriation- - treasurer at Saint Louis. And for_t.his purpose the qaid sum of sixty- one thousand five hundred dollars is hereby appropriated.
