Warren. _ °gl"$f{}§}_H‘ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [*"*““"· N°·"‘5·] States of America in Congress assemble , That there be paid, out of §gg;0‘;§,‘@§;, ,0, any money in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise ap- reimb¤¤i¤s· propriated, the sum of four hundred and ninet —nine dollars and ` sixty cents, which amount is hereby appropriateciv for that urpose, or so much thereof as in the opinion of tlie Secretary of the 'Freasury was properly incurred, to R. . Warren, of Aberdeen, Mississi pi, for expenses incident to defending an indictment made in Fganklin County, Alabama, and in the United States court at Huntsville, Alabama, against said R. J. Warren, charging him with the murder of Houston Vines, while said Wvarren as a United States marshal was attempting to make an arrest of said Vines for violation of the internal—revenue laws of the Government.
