Burdick, Riverside County State of Cahfornia, the sum of $1,981.68, in full compensation for the amoimt expended by said Burdick in compliance with law upon his desertland entry numbered naught seventy-three hundred and thirty-one, allowed by the local land office at Los Angeles, Califomia. and subse- %uently canceled for conflict with the grant to the Southern Pacific ailroad Company. States of Amerika in Congress assembled, Thiit the Sedreilary of the °°"“*"‘ Treasunz be, and he IS ereby, authorized and directed to credit Annie l. Lepley, as postmaster at Plymouth, Amador County, Califorma, on er account as postmaster of said place, in the sum of $2,055.83, the same being the amount of certain moneys money orders, and postage stamlptsl taken and stolen by burglars from the post office at Plymouth, ador County, California, at nighttime at about ten minutes past one o’clock antemeridian on March 13, 1915, by unknown persrms, and that the said Annie M. Lepley be, and she is herebg, relieved and released from payment to the Treasury of the United tates of the said sum of $2,055.83, and every part thereof, as suchgostxnaster, and that her account be credited as postmaster with said amount of $2,055.83 by reason of said loss caused by such burglary.
