Ferlita in the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Virginia, sitting as J¤riS¤i¢¤¤¤ <>f¤¤¤r¢- a court of admiralty and acting under the rules governing such court, and the said damages and costs, if any, as shall be found to be due against the United States in favor of said G. Ferlita, or against the said G. Ferlita in favor of the United·States, upon the same principles and measures of liability as in like cases in admiralty between private parties and with the same rights of appeal: _ Provided, That such notice of the suit shall be given to the Attorney §l,‘fi§§’°‘,,w_ to M,. Sh mer, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $3,900, as full compensation for the loss of jewelry, the property of the aforesaid Anne C. Shymer, who was lost in the sinking of the Lusitania, which jewelry was transmitted to the State Department and was lost in transit. Approved, February 28, 1925. ru 28, .
