CHAP. 109.-An Act To repeal section 1445 of the Revised Statutes of the United States . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 1445 of the Revised Statutes of the United States is hereby repealed . SEC. 2 . Section 1444 of the Revised Statutes of the United States is hereby amended to read as follows "Wh en any office r below the r ank of Vice Ad miral, includ ing any officer of the Dental Corps, is sixty-four years old, he shall be retired by the President from active service : Provided, That the retirement of officers at the age of sixty-four years subsequent to August 29, 1916, is hereby validated ." Approved, January 28, 1929 . CHAP. 110 .-An Act To authorize the Secretary of War to lend War Depart- ment equipment for use at the eleventh national convention of the American Legi on . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, and is hereby, authorized to lend at his discretion, to the Eleventh National Convention Corporation, American Legion, for use at the e leventh natio nal conventio n of the Ameri can Legion to be held at Louisville, Kentucky, in the months of September and October, 1929, ten thousand cots, twenty thousand blankets, twenty thousand bed sheets, ten thousand pillows, ten thousand pillowcases, and ten thousand mattresses or bed sacks : Provided, That no expense shall be caused the United States Government by the delivery and return of said property, the same to be delivered at such time prior to the holding of the said convention as may be agreed upon by the Secretary of War and the American Legion, Department of Ken- tucky, through the director of the eleventh national convention of the American Legion : Provided further, That the Secretary of War, before deliv ering said pr operty, shall take from the said Depart- ment of Kent ucky, the Ame rican Legion, a good and su fficient bond for the safe return of said property in good order and condition, and the whole without expense to the United States, Approved, January 28, 1929 . CHAP. 112 .-An Act To cede certain lands in the State of Idaho, including John Smiths Lake, to the State of Idaho for fish-cultural purposes, and for other purposes . U Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the nit ed States o f America in C ongress assembled, That the l ands hereinafter described be, and the same are hereby, ceded to the State of Idaho for fish-cultural purposes, and the President is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to the State of Idaho a proper conveyance or grant of such lands for the purposes stated, upon pay- ment to the United States of $1 .25 per acre therefor, and with a reservati on to the Unit ed States of all coal, oil , gas, and oth er minerals, together with the right of the United States, its grantees or permittees, to prospect for, mine, and remove the same . The lands hereby ceded are situate in the county of Custer, in the State of Idaho, and are more particularly described as follows, to wit
