States, and for other purposes " ; the Act of Congress approved May 20, 1924, entitled "An Act conferring jurisdiction upon the Court of Claims to hear, examine, adjudicate, and enter judgment in any cla ims wh ich th e Semi nole Indian s may have agains t the United States, and for other purposes " ; the Act of Congress approved May 24, 1924, entitled "An Act conferring jurisdiction upon the Court of Claims to hear, examine, adjudicate, and enter judgment in any claims which the Creek Indians may have against the United States, and for other purposes " ; and the Act of Congress approved June 7, 1924, entitled "An Act conferring jurisdiction upon the Court of Claims to hear, examine, adjudicate, and enter judgment in any claims which the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians may have against the United States, and for other purposes," shall be extended to June 30, 1930, to permi t each Indian nation or tr ibe mentioned in said Acts of Congress to institute suits as provided in said Acts and the joint resolution approved May 19, 1926 (Public Resolution Num- bered 27, Sixty-ninth Congress) . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representativ es of the Un ited Sta tes o f Amer ica in C ongr ess asse mble d, That the following sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not other- wise appropriated, for the Executive Office and sundry independent execu tive bu reaus, boards , commi ssions , and o ffices, for t he fisc al year ending Ju ne 30, 1930, n amely EXECUTIVE OFFICE COMPENSA TION OF THE PRES IDENT AND VICE PR ESIDENT For compensation of the President of the United States, $75,000 . For compensation of the, Vice President of the United States, $15,000 . OFFICE OF THE PRESI DENT Salaries : For Secretary to the President, $10,000 ; two additional secretaries to the President at $10,000 each ; personal services in the office of the President, $93,520 ; in all, $123,520 : Provided, That employees of the executive departments and other establishments of the executive branch of the Government may be detailed from time to time to the office of the President of the United States for such temporary assistance as may be deeme d necessary . Contingent expenses : For contingent expenses of the Executive Offic e, incl uding station ery, re cord b ooks, t elegram s, tel ephones , books for library, furniture and carpets for offices, automobiles, expenses of garage, including labor, special services, and miscellaneous items, to be expended in the discretion of the President, $35,000 . For printing and binding, $2,700 . Traveling expenses : For traveling and official ent ert ain me nt expenses of the Preside nt of the Uni ted States, t o be expended in his discretion and accounted for on his certificate solely, $25,000 .
