CHAP. 325 .-An Act For the erection of a tablet or marker to be placed at [Public, No . 811.1 some suitable point between Hartwell, Georgia, and Alfords Bridge in the county of Hart, State of Georgia, on the national highway between the States of Georgia and South Caro lina, to commemo rate the memory of Nancy Hart . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives of the Nancy Hart.

of War is hereb y author ized to furnish for erec tion at some sui table to be erected Hart County, Ga. point between Hartwell, Georgia, and Alfords Bridge, which crosses Sav ann ah Riv er in the cou nty of Har t, Sta te of Geor gia , on the national highway between the States of Georgia and South Carolina, a tablet or marker to commemorate the memory of Nancy Hart who during the American Revolution when a party of British Tories came to her home, which was located on what was then known as Fish Dam Ford on Broad River, single-handed and alone, cap- tured these Tories, killing one, wounding another, the others surren- dering, and the living ones thereafter hanged by Nancy Hart and a few of her neighbors. Sum authorized . SEC . 2 . There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Tre asury no t otherwi se appro priated, the sum of $1,0 00, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to carry out the provisions Erection, etc ., by of this Act : Provided, That the stone for such marker or tablet shall Daughters of American be furnished by the Hartwell Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution .

CHAP . 326 .-An Act To authorize an additional appropriation of $150,000 [Public, No. 812.1 for construction of a hospital annex at Marion Branch . Be it ena ct ed by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the Ma rion , Ad diti onal Additional sum for United States of America in Congress assembled, That there is hereby hospital eal at, Volun teer authorized to be appropriated out of money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, not more than $150,000, in addition to the Vol.44,p. 1422. $100,000 authorized to be appropriated by section 3 of the Act approved March 4, 1927 (Public, Numbered 798, Sixty-ninth Congress), for the construction of a fire-proof hospital annex at the Marion Branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers .
