United States o f America in Congress assembled, That in order to Eu gene Rheinfr ank, pro mote i nterst ate co mmerce , impr ove th e posta l serv ice, a nd pro vide cay bri ge, in Lucas for milit ary an d othe r purp oses, Eugene Rheinf rank, his he irs, l egal representatives, and assigns, be, and is hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Maumee River, within the county of Lucas, State of Ohio, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at a point at or near its mouth, or entrance into Maumee Bay, in accordance with the provisions of con struction . the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over Vol. 34, p. 84. .na vigabl e wate rs," a pprove d Marc h 23, 1906, a nd sub ject t o the con- ditions and limitations contained in this Act . SEC . 2. After the completion of such bridge, as determined by the Aegnisitio o anthor- ized, after co Secretary of War, either the State of Ohio, any political subdivision by Ohio, etc thereof within or adjoining which any part of such bridge is located, or any two or more of them jointly, may at any time acquire and take over all right, title, and interest in such bridge and its approaches, and any interest in real property necessary therefor, by purchase ce aon dsmna tion pro - or by condemnation or expropriation in accordance with the laws of such State governing the acquisition of private property for public purposes by condemnation or expropriation .
