For the s upport of Indi an day and in dustrial scho ols not other- wise provided for, and other educational and industrial purposes dumb, in connection therewith, $2,850,000 : Provided, That not to exceed $10,000 of this appropriation may be used for the support and edu- cation of deaf and dumb or blind or mentally deficient Indian chil- dren : Provided further, That $3,500 of this appropriation may be used for the education and civilization of the Alabama and Cou- Boardingschools with diminished at- shatta Indians in Texas : Provided further, That, all reservation and ten dance discon tinue d . nonre servation boa rding schools with an avera ge attendance in any year of less than forty-five and eighty pupils, respectively, shall be discontinued on or before the beginning of the ensuing fiscal year . For operation and maintenance of the Satus unit of the Wapato project that can be irrigated by gravity from the drainage water from the Wapato project, Yakima Reservation, Washington, $1,000, to be reimbursed under such rules and regulations as the Secretary of the Inte rior may pre scri be .
