Repairs : For pay of chief engineer, builders, blacksmiths, car- penter s, pain ters, gas fit ters, e lectri cal wor kers, p lumber s, tins miths, steam fitters, stone and brick masons, and laborers, and for all appliances and materials used under this head ; and repairs of roads Proviso.

That no part of the appropriation for repairs for any of the branch homes shall be used for the construction of any new building ; Farm.
