The last mentioned distance namely 91.33 meters ends in a point where the new avenue meets the existing road 379 meters west of the entrance of San Antonio Bridge, the total length of the propoesd new avenue being 2,884.08 meters. The transfer of the lands above described is made subject to the following conditions: (a) In the event that said lands shall cease to be used as a public road or boulevard or devoted to any other than highway purposes, the same shall revert to the United States without notice or action brought. (b) All contracts and specifications with respect to this roadway shall be furnished the Commanding Officer, U. S. Troops in Porto Rico, who shall have the right to approve or reject same. (c) The Commanding Officer, U. S. Troops in Porto Rico, shall have authority, after due notice, to close such portion of the road as he may deem unsafe for traffic during target practice or military maneuvers or exercises on the Escambron tract.
