CHAP. 1 .-An Act Authorizing the Secretary of the Navy, in his di s- cretion, to deliver to the custody of the city of Denver, Colorado, the ship's bell, plaque, war record, name plate, a nd silver service of the cruise r Denver, that is now or may be in his custody . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized, in his discretion, to loan to the c ity of D enver, C olorado, until s uch time as he ma y hereaf ter determine, the ship's bell, plaque, war record, name plate, and silver service of the cruiser Denver, that is now or may be in his custody Provid ed, That no e xpense shal l be incurr ed by the United Stat es through the deli very of said art icles, a nd said a rticles be retai ned on board the cruiser Denver until such time as that vessel is stricken from the Navy list .
