805 CHAP. 584 .-An Act Granting the consen t of Congress to the Beaufort June 23, 1930 . County Lumber Co mpa ny to co nst ru ct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge - [n. R. 11974.] across the Lumber River at or near Fair Bluff, Columbus County, North Carolina . [Putalc, No . 424 .] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Anier ca in Congress assembled, That the conse nt of Congress is hereby granted to the Beaufort County Lumber Com- pany, its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge and approaches thereto across the Lumber River, at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Fair Bluff, Columbus County, North Carolina, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the construc- tion of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 190G . Sm . 2. The right to se ll, a ssign, tran sfer, and m ortga ge all the rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Act is hereby granted to the Beaufort County Lumber Company, its successors and assigns; and any party to whom such rights, powers, and privileges may be sold, assigned . or transferred, or who shall acquire the same b y mor tgage forec losur e or otherw ise is he reb y au thorized to exercise the same as fully as though conferred herein directly upon such party . SEC . 3. The rift to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby ex pressly reserve . Approved, June 23, 1930 . CHAP . 592 .-An Act To establish a hydrographic office at Honolulu, Terri- tory of Hawaii . Be it enacted by the Senat e and House of Representatives of the Honolulu, Hawaii . United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary nydrographic office of the Navy is hereby authorized to establish a branch hydrographic brancat to be estab- office at Honolulu, in the Territory of Hawaii, the same to be con- d ucted under the p rovis ions of an Act e ntitl ed "An Act to est ablis h a hydrographic office in the Navy Department," approved June 21, 1866 . SEC . 2. That the Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized to secure sufficient accommodations in said city of Honolulu for said hydrographic office and to provide the same with the necessary furni- ture, apparatus, supplies, and services allowed existing branch hydro- graphic offices, at a cost not exceeding $5,000, which sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for these purposes . Approved, June 24, 1930 . CHAP . 593 .-An Act To amend the Act enti tled "An Act to prov ide th at the United States shall aid the States in the construction of rural post roads, and for other purposes," approved July 11, 1916, as amended and supplemented, and for other purposes .
